Abstract
The present invention relates to a wallpaper stripping composition and a concentrate therefor. The composition and the concentrate each comprise a phosphate salt or a mixture thereof; an oxidising agent or a mixture thereof; the phosphate salt and the oxidising agent forming a substantially shelf-stable oxidant source; a humectant or a mixture thereof and a compatible liquid or a mixture thereof. The wallpaper stripping compositions are useful in removing wallpaper.

A wallpaper stripping composition, which composition comprises a phosphate salt or a mixture thereof;
- an oxidising agent or a mixture thereof the, or each, oxidising agent forming a substantially shelf-stable oxidant source;
- a humectant or a mixture thereof;
- and a compatible liquid or a mixture thereof.
