Abstract
In one embodiment of the invention, methods are provided for selecting probes upstream from alternative polyadenylation sites of a target sequence cluster.
Claims26
A method of designing a nucleic acid probe array to target a transcript cluster comprising:
- selecting a first set of probes comprising at least one probe targeting a first region immediately upsteam of a first polyadenylation site in the transcript cluster;
- and
- selecting a second set of probes comprising at least one probe targeting a second region immediately upstreatm of a second polyadenylation site in the transcript cluster, wherein the first and second regions are different.
A nucleic acid probe array comprising a first set of probes comprising at least one probe targeting a first region immediately upsteam of a first polyadenylation site in a transcript cluster;
- and a second set of probes comprising at least one probe targeting a second region immediately upstreatm of a second polyadenylation site in the transcript cluster, wherein the first and second regions are different.
