Abstract
Stretch wrap films are used to hold goods to pallets during storage and shipping. A stretch wrap film with blends of polyethylenes that optimize physical properties enable the film to have sufficient cling while creating a tolerable noise level upon unwrapping. The stretch wrap film also has good clarity, high load containment, high puncture resistance, high stretch and good tear resistance.
Claims23
A multilayer stretch film comprising:
- a cling layer,
- a non-cling layer,
- at least one core layer including linear low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene in an amount ranging from about 0.01% to about 3% by weight of the core layer.
A multilayer stretch film comprising:
- a cling layer,
- a non-cling layer,
- at least one core layer including linear low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene in an amount less than 3% by weight of the core layer.
A multilayer stretch film comprising:
- a cling layer,
- a non-cling layer,
- at least one core layer including linear low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene in an amount ranging from about 0.01% to about 3% by weight of the core layer,
- wherein the stretch film has a gauge that ranges from about 45 gauge to about 90 gauge.
1 more element
A stretch film comprising:
- a core layer formed with linear low density polyethylene and low density polyethylene in an amount ranging from about 0.01% to about 3% by weight of the core layer,
- a cling layer formed with ultra low density polyethylene and plastomer in an amount ranging from about 15% to about 20% by weight of the cling layer,
- a non-cling layer of polypropylene.
