In a cylindrical bore head tool including a shaft part with a head support structure and a bore head disposed on the bore head support structure, the bore head support structure with the shaft are an integral part made of tool steel and the cutting head is a sintered hard metal body, and the bore head support structure and the bore head include cooperating form-locking elements by which the bore head is centered on the bore head support structure and rotationally firmly engaged there-with.

A cylindrical bore head tool including a shaft part for mounting the tool in a chuck and having a bore head support structure disposed at a front end thereof, and a bore head disposed on said bore head support structure, said bore head support structure and said bore head including cooperating form-locking elements by which said bore head is centered on said bore head support structure and rotationally firmly engaged therewith, said shaft part consisting of a tool steel and said tool head being a hard metal sintered body.
