Device and system for modernization of an elevator installation

A system for modernizing an elevator installation comprising:

• at least one elevator;
• an elevator control for controlling said at least one elevator by at least one call report;
• at least one floor terminal for at least one of input of destination call reports and recognition of identification codes of passengers;
• a computing unit connected to said at least one floor terminal for evaluating said destination call reports and for association of destination floors with recognized one of said identification codes, said computing unit generating at least one destination signal;
• and
• a modernizing device for reading said destination signal being connected to said computing unit and to said elevator control, said modernizing device converting said destination signal into at least one call report and for controlling said elevator control by said at least one call report.

A system for modernizing an elevator installation having at least one elevator and an elevator control for controlling the at least one elevator by at least one call report, comprising:

• a floor terminal for each floor of a building served by an elevator, each said floor terminal for at least one of input of destination call reports and recognition of identification codes of passengers;
• a computing unit connected to said floor terminals for evaluating said destination call reports and for association of destination floors with recognized ones of said identification codes, said computing unit generating destination signals;
• and
• a modernizing device connected to said computing unit and to said elevator control, said modernizing device reading said destination signals and converting each said destination signal into a call report and for controlling said elevator control by said call reports.
