Abstract
A treatment and/or prevention agent for osteoarthritis comprising N-hydroxy-5-ethoxymethyloxy-2(S)-methyl-4(S)-(4-phenoxybenzoyl)amino pentanamide having an inhibitory activity of matrix metalloproteinases, or a non-toxic salt thereof as active ingredient.
