Abstract
Antisense compounds, compositions and methods are provided for modulating the expression of RECQL5. The compositions comprise antisense compounds, particularly antisense oligonucleotides, targeted to nucleic acids encoding RECQL5. Methods of using these compounds for modulation of RECQL5 expression and for treatment of diseases associated with expression of RECQL5 are provided.
Claims27
A compound 8 to 50 nucleobases in length targeted to a 5′-untranslated region, a start codon region, nucleobases 149 through 354, nucleobases 409 through 452, nucleobases 455 through 536, nucleobases 605 through 684, nucleobases 735 through 870, nucleobases 943 through 981, nucleobases 1002 through 1318 of a coding region, a stop codon region, or a 3′-untranslated region of a nucleic acid molecule encoding RECQL5 of SEQ ID NO:
- 3, wherein said compound specifically hybridizes with one of said regions and inhibits the expression of RECQL5.
A compound up to 50 nucleobases in length comprising at least an 8-nucleobase portion of SEQ ID NO:
- 15, 16, 17, 20, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 47, 48, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 or 92 which inhibits the expression of RECQL5 of SEQ ID NO:
- 3.
A compound comprising SEQ ID NO:
- 26, 47 or 39.
