Abstract
The invention relates to a combination, such as a combined preparation or pharmaceutical composition, respectively, comprising the renin inhibitor of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and at least one antidiabetic agent.

A method for the prevention, delay of progression or treatment of a disease and disorder which may be inhibited by the renin inhibitor of formula (I) and/or by the enhancement of insulin secretion comprising administering to a warm-blooded animal, including man, in need thereof jointly therapeutically effective amounts of
- (i) the renin inhibitor of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof;
- (ii)
- (a) an insulin secretion enhancer or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof or
- (b) an insulin sensitizer or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
