Abstract
A herbicidal composition comprising a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor and a salicylate or another SAR inducer or a combination thereof and methods of controlling plant growth with said composition are disclosed.

A herbicide composition comprising a protoporphyrinogen inhibitor and salicylate or another SAR inducer or a combination thereof.
A method enhancing the herbicidal activity of a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor comprising adding to said inhibitor an effective amount of salicylate or another SAR inducer or a combination thereof.
