Abstract
A mask for removable attachment to an IOL to protect a sharp peripheral edge of the IOL optic during polishing.
Claims6
A mask for covering a peripheral edge of an intraocular lens during a polishing operation conducted on said lens, said mask leaving the remainder of said lens exposed to the polishing operation.
The mask of claim 2 wherein said lens has a sharp peripheral edge and said mask is configured to substantially conform to said sharp peripheral edge.
