Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition comprising a plurality of cDNAs which are expressed during adipocyte differentiation, particularly in disorders associated with obesity and type II diabetes, and which may be used, in their entirety or in part, to diagnose, to stage, to treat, or to monitor the progression or treatment of such disorders.
Claims19
A combination comprising a plurality of cDNAs that are differentially expressed during adipocyte differentiation and selected from SEQ ID NOs:1-71 or their complements.
A method of using a cDNA to treat a subject with a disorder selected from obesity, type II diabetes, lipodystrophy, or hyperinsulinemia.
An isolated cDNA comprising the nucleic acid sequence of SEQ ID NOs:8-11, 13-15, 20, 22, 31, 32, 38-40, 43-46, 51, 52, 57, 58, 60, 62, 69, and 71.
