Abstract
Certain extracts of plants from the genera Leptospernum and Melaleuca can be used in the treatment of both mastitis and metritis to effectively reduce the amount of antibiotic employed, which extracts contain terpene.

1) Use of a combination of active agents consisting of a bactericidally active substance and a plant extract containing terpene for the production of a veterinary medical preparation for the treatment of microbially caused diseases.
