Abstract
Methods and apparatuses for frequency selectivity and frequency translation, and applications for such methods and apparatuses, are described herein. The method includes steps of filtering an input signal, and down-converting the filtered input signal. The filtering and the down-conversion operations are performed in an integrated, unified manner. The apparatus described herein can be implemented as an integrated circuit (IC).
Claims23
A method of processing an input signal to generate an output signal, comprising the steps of:
- (1) filtering said input signal;
- and
- (2) down-converting said input signal in a manner integrated with step (1).
A method of processing signals, comprising the steps of:
- (1) channel select filtering a high frequency signal;
- and
- (2) down-converting said filtered high frequency signal.
An apparatus, comprising:
- an input channel select filter unified with a frequency translator.
A receiver, comprising:
- an input channel select filter unified with a frequency translator.
A method of processing an input signal to generate an output signal, comprising the steps of:
- (1) receiving an input signal;
- and
- (2) filtering and down-converting said input signal in an integrated manner.
Dependencies are inferred from the claim text.
