A device for supplying electrical power to detectors, control systems, and signaling systems is described, in which the power supply line can be implemented as a ring. Each of the peripheral consumers connected to the ring has a power supply device which connects through the power supply line to the next power supply device depending on a minimum voltage. Power supply terminals, which detect short-circuits and/or interruptions on the power supply ring and therefore the lack of power supply to a detector, are each connected to a ring input and a ring output. Alternatively, the power supply line may be implemented as a spur line, with power supply then provided up to an occurring short-circuit or an interruption. In the case of the spur line, the control center is informed in that it receives signals from the individual detectors about an existing power supply via an alarm line.
A device for supplying electrical power to detectors, control systems, and signaling systems (4, 6, 8, 12, and 14) which are connectable to an alarm line (16), with a control center (1) being connectable to the alarm line (16) and to a power supply line (17), with the control center (1) having a controller and means for signaling, wherein the control center (1) has a first power supply terminal (3) having a first overcurrent detector (19), having a first overcurrent limiter (18), and having a first disconnection element (20);
The device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the detectors, the control systems, or the signaling systems output a notification to the control center (1) via the alarm line (16) that the detectors, the control systems, or the signaling systems (4, 6, 8, 12, and 14) are supplied with electrical power.
The device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the controller is implemented in such a way that in the event an overcurrent is detected using the first overcurrent detector (19), the controller induces the means for signaling to output a corresponding signal.
The device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the second disconnection element (42, 51), the second overcurrent detector (45), and the second overcurrent limiter (44) are located in a housing separate from the housing for the detectors or the control systems or the signaling systems.
The device according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the control center (1) has an analog/digital converter which is connectable to the power supply line (17).
