Signal device for positioning a vehicle

A signal device for providing a visual parking signal to a driver of a vehicle, the signal device comprising:

• a first signal surface having a first color;
• a second signal surface having a second color that contrasts visually with the first color, the first and second signal surfaces being connected to one another;
• a mounting substrate, said first and second signal surfaces being connected to said mounting substrate at a first location, at least one of said first and second signal surfaces capable of being detachably connected to said mounting substrate at a second location whereby said first and second surfaces are movable from a first configuration where they are substantially planar relative to each other and said mounting substrate to a second configuration where at least one of the first and second surfaces is disposed substantially perpendicular to said mounting substrate;
• and
• means for attaching at least one of said first and second signal surfaces to said mounting surface at said second location.
