Abstract
Disclosed is a media cassette comprising: a casing mounted on a mounting portion of a media dispenser and having a stack space in which media are stacked; a discharging slot formed in the casing for discharging the media stacked in the stack space out of the casing in an edge direction of the media; and a slot shielding unit for opening the discharging slot when the casing is mounted on the mounting portion and shielding the discharging slot when the casing is detached from the mounting portion.

A media cassette comprising:
- a casing mounted on a mounting portion of a media dispenser and having a stack space in which media are stacked;
- a discharging slot formed in the casing for discharging the media stacked in the stack space out of the casing in an edge direction of the media;
- and
- a slot shielding unit for opening the discharging slot when the casing is mounted on the mounting portion and shielding the discharging slot when the casing is detached from the mounting portion.
