Abstract
The object of the present invention is to provide a production method for a silicate phosphor having high brightness. This object is achieved by the method for producing a silicate phosphor comprising a step of calcining a mixture of metal compounds, wherein one of the metal compounds is silicon oxide having BET specific surface area of not less than 10 m2/g.
Claims10
A method for producing a silicate phosphor comprising a step of calcining a mixture of metal compounds, wherein one of the metal compounds is silicon oxide having BET specific surface area of not less than 10 m2/g.
A silicate phosphor containing not less than 80% by weight particle having primary particle diameter of not more than 5 μm obtained by the method comprising a step of calcining a mixture of metal compounds, wherein one of the metal compounds is silicon oxide having BET specific surface area of not less than 10 m2/g.
