Shielding cap mounting arrangement for electric outlet

A shielding cap mounting arrangement comprising:

• an electric outlet, said electric outlet comprising a shell, a top recess in said shell, a set of plugholes in said top recess, two rails at two sides of said top recess, and two parallel sliding grooves respectively defined in said rails at two sides of said top recess;
• and
• a shielding cap mounted in said top recess and moved along said sliding grooves to close/open said plugholes;
• wherein said sliding grooves each have an open end through which said shielding cap is inserted into said top recess;
• said shielding cap comprises two side wings respectively horizontally inserted through the open ends of said sliding grooves into said sliding grooves for enabling said shielding cap to be moved in said top recess along said sliding grooves to close/open said plugholes, and two top locating blocks respectively upwardly protruded from said side wings and moved with said side wings into said sliding grooves for enabling said shielding cap to be moved in said top recess along said sliding grooves to close/open said plugholes and preventing said shielding cap from escaping out of said sliding grooves.

A shielding cap mounting arrangement comprising:

• an electric outlet, said electric outlet comprising a top frame, a top recess defined in said frame, a set of plugholes disposed in said top recess and adapted to receive an electric plug, and a plurality of sliding grooves defined in said top frame and spaced around said top recess;
• and
• a shielding cap mounted in said top recess and rotated to close/open said plugholes;
• wherein said top frame of said electric outlet comprises a plurality of openings spaced around said top recess and respectively disposed in communication with said sliding grooves and defining a respective step near one end of each of said sliding grooves, and a plurality of downward protruding portions respectively suspended in said sliding grooves at an outer side;
• said shielding cap comprises a plurality of peripheral wings respectively inserted through said openings of said top frame into said sliding grooves and stopped inside said sliding grooves by said downward protruding portions, and a plurality of locating blocks respectively upwardly protruded from said peripheral wings and moved with said peripheral wings in said sliding grooves.
