Fuel injector and fuel injection system

A fuel injector, comprising:

• an electromagnetic actuator having an armature being attracted to a stator when a coil is energized;
• and
• a valve element operatively coupled with a nozzle to open a nozzle hole formed on the nozzle and being integral with the armature, wherein
• the valve element comprises:
• a rod portion with the armature fixed thereto;
• and
• a valve portion provided separately from and coaxially with the rod portion and adapted to open or close the nozzle hole with movement of the rod portion, the rod portion and the valve portion being connected with each other by means of a removable connecting member, and the rod portion and the valve portion in the connected state being received within a first casing member and a second casing member.

A fuel injector comprising:

• an elongated valve element;
• a spring for urging the valve element in a valve closing direction;
• and
• an electromagnetic actuator having an armature integral with an end portion of the valve element and adapted to be attracted to a stator against the biasing force of the spring when a coil is energized, wherein
• an oil pressure damper chamber is formed between an end face of the armature and an end face of the stator.

A fuel injector comprising:

• a nozzle for injecting fuel;
• a valve element for opening and closing the nozzle;
• an electric actuator for actuating the valve member directly;
• a member which defines a first chamber adapted to receive a supply pressure of fuel having an accumulated pressure, a second chamber formed on an opposite-to-nozzle side rather than the first chamber and adapted to receive a fuel pressure on a nozzle side, and a throttle portion which produces a differential pressure between the first chamber and the second chamber;
• and
• a member for operating the nozzle in an opening and closing fashion, the member being provided with a pressure receiving portion for receiving the differential pressure.

A fuel injector comprising:

• a nozzle for injecting fuel;
• a valve element for opening and closing the nozzle;
• an electric actuator having an armature, for actuating the valve member directly;
• and
• a member which defines a first chamber formed on a nozzle side of an armature, a second chamber formed on an opposite-to-nozzle side of the armature, and a passage through which supplied fuel having an accumulated pressure flows from the first chamber to the second chamber through a side face of the armature, and then introduced to the nozzle side via the center of the valve element.

A fuel supply system for supplying fuel to an engine, the fuel supply system comprising:

• a fuel injector for injecting liquefied gas fuel supplied from a fuel tank through a fuel pipe;
• and
• an air conditioner having an expansion valve for atomizing a liquid refrigerant, an evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant atomized by the expansion valve, and a condenser for condensing the evaporated refrigerant into a liquefied state, wherein
• the liquefied gas fuel stored in the fuel tank is fed as the refrigerant to the air conditioner, and
• the liquefied gas fuel leaking from the fuel injector is introduced into the air conditioner.
