Abstract
Rendering a three-dimensional model comprised of three-dimensional data defining a bone includes obtaining a point at which the bone intersects a collision surface, determining a correction factor for use in rotating the bone from the point to a position in front of the collision surface, and rendering the three-dimensional model, including the bone, using the correction factor.

A method of rendering a three-dimensional model comprised of three-dimensional data defining a bone, the method comprising:
- obtaining a point at which the bone intersects a collision surface;
- determining a correction factor for use in rotating the bone from the point to a position in front of the collision surface;
- and
- rendering the three-dimensional model, including the bone, using the correction factor.
An article comprising a computer-readable medium that stores instructions for rendering a three-dimensional model comprised of three-dimensional data defining a bone, the instructions causing a machine to:
- obtain a point at which the bone intersects a collision surface;
- determine a correction factor for use in rotating the bone from the point to a position in front of the collision surface;
- and
- render the three-dimensional model, including the bone, using the correction factor.
An apparatus for rendering a three-dimensional model comprised of three-dimensional data defining a bone, the apparatus comprising:
- a memory that stores executable instructions;
- and
- a processor that executes the instructions to:
- obtain a point at which the bone intersects a collision surface;
- determine a correction factor for use in rotating the bone from the point to a position in front of the collision surface;
- and
- render the three-dimensional model, including the bone, using the correction factor.
