Abstract
The rubber compounds according to the present invention are based on uncrosslinked rubbers, crosslinked rubber particles together with multifunctional isocyanates and polyols. These rubber compounds can be used for the manufacture of rubber vulcanizates or any type of molded rubber article, whereby the vulcanizates display good mechanical properties combined with a large difference in impact resilience values at 70° C. and 23° C.
Claims7
Rubber compounds comprising uncrosslinked rubbers (A), crosslinked rubber particles (B), multifunctional isocyanates (C) and polyols (D), whereby, relative in each case to 100 parts by weight (phr) of the rubber component (A), the content of said crosslinked rubber particles (B) is 1 to 150 parts by weight, the content of said multifunctional isocyanates (C) is 1 to 100 parts by weight, and the content of said polyols (D) is 1 to 50 parts by weight.
Rubber vulcanizates comprising rubber compounds which comprise uncrosslinked rubbers (A), crosslinked rubber particles (B), multifunctional isocyanates (C) and polyols (D), whereby, relative in each case to 100 parts by weight (phr) of the rubber component (A), the content of said crosslinked rubber particles (B) is 1 to 150 parts by weight, the content of said multifunctional isocyanates (C) is 1 to 100 parts by weight, and the content of said polyols (D) is 1 to 50 parts by weight.
Molded rubber articles containing rubber compounds which comprise uncrosslinked rubbers (A), crosslinked rubber particles (B), multifunctional isocyanates (C) and polyols (D), whereby, relative in each case to 100 parts by weight (phr) of the rubber component (A), the content of said crosslinked rubber particles (B) is 1 to 150 parts by weight, the content of said multifunctional isocyanates (C) is 1 to 100 parts by weight, and the content of said polyols (D) is 1 to 50 parts by weight.
