Abstract
In a device for reading memory cells, a precharging circuit is connected to a memory cell to be read and to a reference cell associated with the memory cell to be read. The precharging circuit precharges the output of the differential amplifier to a predetermined voltage level. The reading device further includes an inverter having a high threshold and a low threshold connected to the output of the differential amplifier. The predetermined voltage level corresponds to an intermediate level between the high and low thresholds.
Claims9
A memory cell read device comprising a differential amplifier, the device comprising a circuit for precharging the output of said differential amplifier at a determined voltage level.
A device according to any of the above claims, comprising an inverter with thresholds, connected to the output of the amplifier, which gives the data at output, and wherein the predetermined voltage level of the output precharging circuit corresponds to an intermediate level between the high and low thresholds of said inverter.
A device according to any of the above claims, wherein the predetermined voltage level corresponds to half of the voltage swing between the high and low logic levels.
An integrated circuit comprising a memory cell read device according to any of the above claims.
