Abstract

A professional hand held probe device, having an optional telescoping feature. This probe as used in an inspection device can be of a fixed length or telescoping to any desired length. This probe has a frame assembly at the distal end that is remotely adjustable by a button on the handle section and is configured to accept mirrors of various diopters. This frame is also configured to accept light emitting diodes of different wave lengths witch includes ultra violet light. The light emitting diodes are energized by batteries in the handle, witch handles three AAA batteries supplying a voltage in excess of what is needed for the light emitting diodes, a regulating device is used to control the voltage, this enables the user to insert either alkaline or ni-cad batteries provision for an outside power source is also provided for extended periods of use. A note of importance is that both the remote operation and the light emitting diodes are infinitely engaged, meaning that the light will work at any point of extension, also the remote operating feature will also work at any point of extension,

A professional hand held probe, having a an optional telescoping feature, having a proximal end and a distal end, said proximal end and said distal end lying across a horizontal reference plane parallel with the center line, said hand held probe having a first assembly at the proximal end, said first assembly being a handle configuration, a second assembly being a coaxial arm, said coaxial arm occupying an intermediate position, said coaxial arm having an optional telescoping feature, a third assembly at the distal end, said third assembly being a frame assembly, said handle assembly being hollow and configured to accept a number of batteries, said handle assembly having a removable cap, said removable cap having as a first feature an electrical switch, said removable cap having as a second feature an electrical fitting, said electrical fitting configured to receive an outside electrical source, said first assembly having a distal end, said distal end having a modified conical shape, said conical shape having an elongated slot, said elongated slot positioned parallel with the center line, said elongated slot having an operating button assembly fitted slidingly within, said conical shape having the distal end terminating in a configuration to accept the distal end of said second assembly,

a. said second assembly being coaxial, said, coaxial assembly comprised of tubular sections,
b. said coaxial assembly having an inner section and an outer section, whereas said inner section being isolated from said outer section by an insulating material,
c. said inner tubular section, the proximal end firmly secured to said operating button, said distal end firmly secured to a rack gear and made electrically conductive there through,
d. said outer tubular section, the proximal end firmly secured to the distal end of said first assembly, said distal end of said tubular section firmly secured to a gear housing, said outer tubular section made electrically conductive therethrough,
