Abstract
The inventive code key comprises a bendable element and a strain gauge connected to the bendable element. The strain gauge changes resistance when the bendable element is moved.
Claims20
A code key comprising:
- a bendable element;
- and
- a strain gauge that is connected to the bendable element that changes resistance when the bendable element is moved.
A method for operating a code key comprising:
- providing a flexible element;
- and
- providing a strain gauge connected to the flexible element;
- and
- moving the flexible element and thereby changing the resistance of the strain gauge.

A signal generation system comprising:
- a switch that includes:
- a means for bending;
- and
- a strain gauge connected to the means for bending that changes resistance when the means for bending element is moved;
- means for detecting a change in resistance of the strain gauge and forms a signal based on the change in resistance;
- and
- means for forming an output signal from the signal and providing the output signal to one of an antenna and a land line.
