Abstract
A breastpump carrier in the form of a backpack. The breastpump backpack has a horizontal shelf dividing the interior of the breastpump carrier into lower and upper storage areas. The lower storage area is accessible through an exterior side of the backpack with a pumping mechanism mounted therein.
Claims22
A breastpump carrier, comprising:
- a backpack having an interior, an exterior, a front, a back, sides, a bottom, and a closeable top;
- a horizontal shelf dividing the interior of the breastpump carrier into lower and upper storage areas, said lower storage area being accessible through an access port;
- a pump storage compartment within which is received a motorized pump for generating air pressure to operate a breastpumping device;
- at least one strap on said backpack adapted to mount said backpack on the shoulder of a person.
A breastpump carrier, comprising:
- a receptacle having walls defining an interior, an exterior, a back, sides, a bottom, and a top, said top having an opening defined therein providing access to said interior;
- an insulated storage compartment located within said receptacle;
- a pump storage compartment located within said receptacle within which is received a pump for driving a breastpump;
- a pump outlet through which an output from said pump can be communicated to a breastshield, said outlet being accessible through one of said walls;
- and
- at least one strap mounted on the back of said receptacle, said strap adapted to engage a shoulder of a user to carry said receptacle on a user's back.
A breastpump carrier, comprising a backpack defining a vertical rectangular case having an interior, an exterior, a front, a back, two sides, a bottom, and a closeable top assembled to provide an access port on the lower front of the carrier;
- a horizontal shelf dividing the interior of the breastpump carrier into lower and upper storage areas;
- a pump storage compartment located within said case within which is received a motorized pump for driving a breastpump, with at least one pump outlet accessible from said case exterior;
- an insulated storage compartment located within said case;
- a cover on said case through which said pump storage compartment and said outlet are accessed;
- and
- at least one adjustable back strap having an upper shoulder engaging portion and a lower bottom portion mounted on the back of said case.
A carrier for a breastpump, comprising:
- a backpack having an interior and an exterior;
- a motorized pump that is operable to drive a breast-engaging device for the expression of milk;
- and
- a pump compartment formed within said backpack interior and within which said pump is mounted.
