Abstract
A containment vessel formed from at least two rigid panels placed in a parallel plane having a spacer positioned between the panels wherein a containment area is formed along an upper surface of the spacer and inner surface of the rigid panels. The spacer can be formed into any shape with a distal end and proximal end of the spacer forming an inlet to the containment area. The containment vessel employs a reusable securement fastener allowing for the disassembly of the panels and replacement or reshaping of the spacer to form different shaped containment areas. The containment vessel can be pre-shaped or fixed.
Claims18
A containment vessel comprising:
- a first panel formed from a sheet of rigid material;
- a second panel formed from a sheet of rigid material;
- a spacer positionable between said first and second panels, said spacer having rigidity along at least one plane;
- and
- a securement means for maintaining said first and second panels in a parallel juxtaposition with said spacer maintained in a fixed position;
- whereby placement of said spacer means between said first and second panels and secured thereto creates at least one containment area wherein material placed within said containment area is held by the inner surface of each said panel and an upper surface formed by said flexible spacer.
The containment vessel according to claim 3 wherein said securement means is at least one threaded bolt extending through each said panel having a threaded nut for maintaining said panels in a fixed position.
The containment vessel according to claim 3 wherein said securement means is a threaded bolt extending through each said panel having a threaded nut for maintaining said panels in a fixed position.
The containment vessel according to claim 3 wherein said securement means includes a base support positionable beneath said panels, said base support having at least two side edges for securement of the inner and outer surfaces of said panels.
The containment vessel according to claim 3 wherein said securement means is a inverted positionable over an upper edge of said panels operatively association with a base support positionable beneath said panels, said base support having side edges for with inner and outer surfaces, said panels positioned along said inner surface of said side edges wherein said spacer biases said panels against said side edges of said base support and said inverted bracket.
