Abstract
An image processing apparatus records an input image signal into another recording medium or displays the input image signal on a display device. When a digital image signal having superimposed thereupon an electronic watermark is input, an identification circuit identifies the method employed to superimpose the electronic watermark. A decode circuit decodes the electronic watermark by employing the electronic watermark superimposing method identified by the identification circuit.
Claims13
An image signal processing apparatus comprising;
- an input device that inputs an image signal;
- and
- an identification circuit that identifies a method employed to superimpose an electronic watermark in the image signal input through said input device.
An image signal processing apparatus comprising;
- an input device that inputs an image signal;
- an identification circuit that identifies a method employed to superimpose an electronic watermark on the image signal input through said input device;
- a recording processing device that records the input image signal in a recording medium;
- a display device that displays the input image signal;
- and
- a decode circuit that decodes the electronic watermark through the electronic watermark superimposing method identified by said identification circuit.
A method of electronic watermark superimposing method identification achieved by;
- inputting an image signal;
- and
- identifying a method employed to superimpose an electronic watermark on the input image signal.
