Abstract
Provided herein are novel polypeptides that are derived from human JNK3 proteins, variants of such polypeptides, their corresponding nucleotide sequences, and their uses.

Derivative of JNK, characterized in that it contains a deletion in the N-terminal region corresponding to the 1-38 fragment of the JNKα1 isoform or the JNKα2 isoform, or a deletion of the C-terminal amino acids from amino acid 139 onwards.
