Abstract
A method for treating and reversing the damages caused by anoxic encephalopathy and ischemic events is disclosed. The method according to the present invention comprises the administration of a therapeutically effective dose of N-acetylcystein.

A method for treating a patient with anoxic encephalopathy conditions comprising administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of N-acetylcystein.
A method for treating a patient affected by an ischemic event comprising administering to said patient a therapeutically effective amount of N-acetylcystein.
