Toner replenishing device and image forming apparatus using the same

In an image forming apparatus including a toner replenishing device for replenishing toner to a body of said image forming apparatus, said toner replenishing device comprising:

• a container support unit for supporting a removable toner container, which stores the toner therein, in a substantially horizontal position;
• and
• a base unit supporting said container support unit such that said container support unit is movable between a first position for mounting or dismounting the toner container and a second position for replenishing the toner from said toner container to the body;
• wherein said container support unit is configured such that when said container support unit is located at said first position, the toner container is movable between said container support unit and said base unit while said base unit supports said toner container in the substantially horizontal position in a direction in which said toner container is movable.
