Abstract
An internal powerline network is provided with a routing device for routing a signal on only a part of the network. In this way the data capacity of the network is increased. The routing device is advantageously attached to the fuse box of the powerline network.

Apparatus for routing signals on an internal powerline network comprising a routing device for transmitting a signal on only a part of said network.
A method of routing signals on an internal powerline network comprising receiving a signal at a routing device and transmitting said signal on only a part of said network.
