Abstract
The present invention discloses biscyclopropanecarboxamide compounds and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; and also NF-kappa B activation inhibitors, Inflammatory cytokine production inhibitors, matrix metalloprotease production inhibitors, inflammatory cell adhesion molecules incidence inhibitors, antiinflammatory agents, antirheumatic agents, immunosuppressive agents, cancerous metastasis inhibitors or antiviral agents each containing such a compound as the active ingredient.
Claims17
Biscyclopropanecarboxamide compounds represented by the following general formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof:
- 8
- wherein R1 to R4, which may be the same or different from each other, each represent methyl group or chlorine atom, R5 and R6, which may be the same or different from each other, each represent hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aryl group which may have a substituent(s), and —A— represents one of the groups of the following general formulae (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v):
- 9
- wherein B1 to B10, which may be the same or different from each other, each represent an aromatic ring which may have a substituent(s) or an aromatic heterocyclic group having at least one hetero atom, which may have a substituent(s), —X1— to —X6—, which may be the same or different from each other, each represent an interatomic bond, —O—, —NR7—, —CR8R9—, —S—, —SO—, —SO2—, —CO—, —O—CO—, —CO—O—, —NR10—CO—or —CO—NR11—wherein R7 represents hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an acyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, R8 to R9 each represent hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an alkoxyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and R10 to R11 each represent hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms,
- with the proviso that when —A— is represented by the general formula (III), at least one of B2 and B3 cannot be benzene ring.
