Mineral ionizing device

A mineral ionizing device comprising:

• a) an enclosure which includes a first horizontal surface and a second horizontal surface, with said first horizontal surface having a seal bore,
• b) a resilient seal having a perimeter, a central bore and dimensioned to be securely inserted into the seal bore,
• c) a vibratory spring having an inverted U-shape with a central horizontal section having a centered bore, and a first end and a second end that are attached, by an attachment means, to the interior of the second horizontal surface of said enclosure,
• d) a solid-mineral, cylindrical first electrode having an upper end and a lower end, wherein the lower end is securely held around the perimeter of said resilient seal,
• e) a second electrode coaxially located within said first electrode and having an upper end that is adjacent the upper end of said first electrode, and a threaded lower end that is inserted through the central bore on said resilient seal and attached by a bolt inserted through the centered bore on said vibratory spring and into the threaded lower end of said second electrode.
• f) an elongated container having an open upper end and a lower end dimensioned to enclose the first and second electrodes and to be releasably attached, by an attachment means, to the first horizontal surface of said enclosure, and
• g) a set of individual protrusions or a single spiraled protrusion located on said second electrode, wherein said protrusions attract gaseous bubbles which form on the surface of said second electrode and aid in releasing the gaseous bubbles.
• h) a vibration unit connected to said second electrode and operated by a power source, wherein the vibrations produced by said vibration unit aids in releasing the gaseous bubbles which form on the surface of said second electrode, and
• i) a periodic current-reversing unit located within said enclosure and designed to produce a polarity-reversing d-c current output, wherein the positive d-c current output is connected to said first electrode via an electrical lead, and the negative side is connected to said second electrode via the vibratory spring, wherein the current reversal aids in releasing the gaseous bubbles which form on the surface of said second electrode, wherein when water is inserted into said elongated container and the d-c current is applied, said first electrode ionizes and releases particles of ionized mineral into the water which results in the production of mineral water.

A process for producing mineral water, wherein said process operates in combination with a mineral ionizing device comprised of a container containing a solid-mineral, cylindrical first electrode and a second electrode located within said cylindrical first electrode, a means for producing a vibration within said container, a set of protrusions projecting from the surface of said second electrode, and a periodic current reversing unit which applies a d-c current across said first and second electrodes, said process comprising the following steps:

• a) select a mineral ionizing device designed to produce a specific mineral,
• b) fill said enclosure with a specific quantity of water,
• c) activate said periodic current reversing unit for a time period commensurate with the selected mineral and the quantity of mineral water that is to be produced,
• d) shut unit “OFF” at the completion of the time period, and
• e) pour the mineral water from said container into an external container.
