Abstract
The present invention relates to a structure of a multilayer tube comprising at least one layer made of a composite material (2-8) consisting of reinforcing fibers embedded in a polymer matrix, at least one sealing sheath (1) made of a low-permeability polymer material. The tube further comprises a metal casing (9) interior to the sheath. In a variant, the casing is made of stapled steel tape (10).
Claims6
1) A multilayer tube comprising at least one layer of a composite material consisting of reinforcing fibers embedded in a polymer matrix, at least one sealing sheath made of a low-permeability polymer material, characterized in that it further comprises a metal casing (9) interior to said sheath (1).
3) A tube as claimed in any one of the previous claims, wherein a flexible metal tube (14) surrounds said tube.
4) A tube as claimed in any one of the previous claims, comprising several sealing sheaths (12, 15) separated by composite material layers (11, 13).
