Abstract
A multi-functional cargo bed liner assembly for a cargo bed of a vehicle includes a first and a second side wall disposed in a transversely spaced relationship, and an integrally formed guide track in the first and second side walls. The cargo bed liner assembly also includes an end wall extending therebetween the first and second side wall at a first end, and a floor extending therebetween the first and second side walls. The cargo bed liner assembly further includes a movable divider panel supported within the guide track by a support means, and extending transversely therebetween the first and second side walls, wherein the divider panel includes a positioning mechanism for fixedly locating the divider panel.
Claims73
A multi-functional cargo bed liner assembly for a cargo bed of a vehicle comprising:
- a first and a second side wall disposed in a transversely spaced relationship, wherein said first and second side walls each include an integrally formed guide track extending longitudinally;
- an end wall extending therebetween said first and second side walls at a first end;
- a floor extending therebetween said first and second side walls, wherein said first and second side walls, end wall and floor are integral and formed as one piece;
- a movable divider panel supported within said integral guide track by a support means, and extending transversely therebetween said first and second side walls, wherein said divider panel includes a positioning mechanism for fixedly locating the divider panel along said integral guide track.
A multi-functional cargo bed liner assembly for a cargo bed of a vehicle comprising:
- a first and a second side wall disposed in a transversely spaced relationship, wherein said first and second side walls includes a fixed side wall and a side extension wall slidably attached to said fixed side wall, such that said side extension wall is extendable out over a lowered tailgate of the vehicle to cooperately increase a length dimension of the cargo bed;
- an end wall extending therebetween said first and second side walls at a first end;
- a floor extending therebetween said first and second side walls;
- a longitudinally extending integral guide track disposed in said fixed side wall and said side extension wall;
- a movable divider panel supported within said integral guide track by a support means, and extending transversely therebetween said first and second side walls, wherein said divider panel includes a positioning mechanism for fixedly locating the divider panel.
A multi-functional cargo bed liner assembly for a cargo bed of a vehicle comprising:
- a first and a second side wall disposed in a transversely spaced relationship, wherein said first and second side walls includes a fixed side wall having a lower section, a midsection and an upper section, and a side extension wall slidably attached to said fixed side wall, such that said side extension wall is extendable out over a lowered tailgate of the vehicle to cooperately increase a length dimension of the cargo bed;
- a channel formed in the midsection of the fixed side wall for slidably positioning said side extension wall with respect to said fixed side wall;
- a plurality of indexing grooves in said lower section of the fixed side wall spaced a predetermined distance apart for indexing a position of said divider panel;
- a back wall formed in the upper section of said fixed side wall that is generally planar and a front wall attached to said back wall, to define a storage area;
- a longitudinally extending integral guide track disposed in said fixed side wall and said side extension wall;
- a lip is formed by a lower edge of said front wall and a flange extends from an edge of said lip to form a portion of said integral guide track;
- an upper flange extending from an upper edge of said side extension wall forms another portion of said integral guide track;
- wherein said side extension wall includes a forward section that is not integral with the floor, and a rearward section that is integral with the floor, and both the forward section and rearward section include a plurality of indexing grooves spaced a predetermined distance apart for indexing the position of the divider panel;
- an upper end of the indexing grooves forms a gear track for the integral guide track;
- a lower flange extends from a lower edge of said rearward section for positioning the side extension wall with respect to the fixed side wall;
- an end wall extends therebetween said first and second side walls at a first end;
- a floor extending therebetween said first and second side walls;
- a movable divider panel supported within said integral guide track by a support means, and extending transversely therebetween said first and second side walls, wherein said divider panel includes a positioning mechanism for fixedly locating the divider panel.
