The invention relates to a cartridge piston (1, 1A) made of a material which is sensitive to the contents of the cartridge, comprising a covering disk (9, 9A) which is made of a material which is not sensitive to the contents of the cartridge and arranged on the surface (5) of the piston, having a structure which is adapted to one of the cross-sectional profiles (5) of the surface of said piston. The area of the piston (1, 1A) facing the wall of the cartridge is embodied as a V-shaped cross-sectional annular groove (2) forming a sealing lip on the edge thereof. In order to protect the piston from the effects of the contents of the cartridge and to guarantee the sealing function of the piston even when the cartridge is curved, the outer diameter of the covering disk (9, 9A) is smaller than the edge of the piston (1, 1A) which forms the sealing lip (3) and the edge of the covering disk (9, 9A) is sealingly connected to the surface (5) of the piston.
A cartridge piston (1, 1A) made of a material which is sensitive to the contents of the cartridge, comprising a covering disk (9, 9A) made of a material which is not sensitive to the content of the cartridge, which covering disk is arranged on the piston surface (5) and has a structure adapted to the cross-sectional shape of the piston surface (5), whereby the area of the piston (1, 1A), which area faces the wall of the cartridge, is designed as an annular groove (2) having a V-shaped cross section, which annular groove (2) forms a sealing lip (3) at its edge, characterized in that the outside diameter of the covering disk (9, 9A) is smaller than the edge of the piston (1, 1A) forming the sealing lip (3) and the edge of the covering disk (9, 9A) is sealingly connected to the piston surface (5).
