Abstract
The invention relates to dental materials which contain a thermochromic dye and which display a reversible change of colour in the event of changes in temperature, so that they can be distinguished from the natural dentin.
Claims14
Dental material containing at least one polymerizable ethylenically unsaturated monomer and at least one initiator for cold, hot and/or photopolymerization, characterized in that it additionally contains at least one thermochromic dye.
Dental material according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it contains a thermochromic dye which is colourless at body temperature and which undergoes a reversible change of colour upon cooling.
