Abstract
In order to provide a miniature full-color recorder excellent in color reproducibility and provides a full-color recorder having a wider color reproduction range beyond the range of subtraction color mixing of the three primary colors, the first and second potential split developing processes are continuously arranged for one recording medium.
Claims10
A full-color recorder comprising a photoconductor, a charger, an exposure unit, a first developing unit, and a second developing unit, wherein image regions having potential levels of at least three different values are formed on said photoconductor using said exposure unit, and a first potential split developing process for developing colored particles of different kinds respectively by normal development and reversal development for said potential levels of two values excluding said medium potential level among said potential levels by said first developing unit and then said second developing unit and a second potential split developing process also for developing colored particles of different kinds by said first and second developing units are arranged in series, and an image is output to one recording medium, and said output image has a medium color different from a color tone of said colored particles.
