Abstract
The composition of the present invention comprises a sodium channel blocking compound which is capable of specifically binding to a site, either on an SS1 region or an SS2 region, on an extracellular region of a sodium channel alpha subunit, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.

A composition comprising at least one sodium channel blocking compound that specifically binds to a site on an SS1 region or an SS2 region of a sodium channel alpha subunit and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier comprising an aqueous solution of a weak organic acid and propylene glycol and having a pH ranging from 3.0 to 5.0.
A composition comprising at least one sodium channel blocking compound that specifically binds to a site on an SS1 region or an SS2 region of a sodium channel alpha subunit and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier comprising an aqueous solution of a weak organic acid and having a pH ranging from 3.0 to 5.0.
