Abstract
A detergent composition contains the following components (a) and (b): 1 (a) an amphoteric surfactant 2 to 35 wt. %, (b) a compound which is other than the component (a) 6 to 40 wt. %. and contains, in its molecule, a carboxyl group and an amino group or a quaternary ammonium group This composition is easily thickened without using a thickener, and has excellent temperature stability and washing with it imparts the skin with good touch feeling.

A detergent composition comprising the following components (a) and (b):
- 6 (a) an amphoteric surfactant 2 to 35 wt. %, (b) a compound which is other than the component (a) 6 to 40 wt. %. and contains, in the molecule of the compound, a carboxyl group and an amino group or a quaternary ammonium group
