Abstract
The present invention provides polynucleotides and polypeptides which are diagnostic markers for lung cancer. In addition, antibodies immunospecific for these markers are provided. Vectors, hosts cells and methods for producing these markers, as well as methods and tools for using these markers in detecting, diagnosing, monitoring, staging, prognosticating, imaging and treating lung cancer are also provided.
Claims25
An isolated polynucleotide comprising:
- (a) SEQ ID NO:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12;
- (b) a fragment of at least 15 contiguous nucleobases of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12;
- (c) a nucleic acid sequence which, due to degeneracy in genetic coding, comprises variations in nucleotide sequence as compared to SEQ ID NO:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12, but which still encodes the same protein;
- or
- (d) a nucleic acid sequence which hybridizes under stringent conditions to an antisense sequence of SEQ ID NO:
- 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12.
A vaccine comprising a LSG polypeptide or a vector expressing a LSG polypeptide which induces an immune response against the LSG polypeptide in a mammal.
