An exposure unit, for an image forming apparatus using an electrophotographic system, comprising a luminescent device array comprising a pair of electrodes and an organic compound layer disposed between the electrodes, and a microlens array arranged corresponding to the luminescent device array.
An electrophotographic image forming apparatus comprising an electrophotographic member, a charging unit, an exposure unit, a developing unit, a transfer unit, and a fixing unit, wherein the exposure unit comprises a luminescent device array comprising a pair of electrodes and an organic compound layer disposed between the electrodes, and a microlens array arranged corresponding to the luminescent device array.
