Abstract
A portable infant carrier includes a basin-shaped base having a mattress pad laid thereon for carrying a baby, and a first plate and second plate pivotally mounted on the base. The first and second plates are selectively movable between a position to cover the base, and a position where the first plate is inclined for the baby to lean on. The mattress pad also serves as a partition under which some baby articles, such as milk bottles or nipples, can be stored.

An portable infant carrier comprising:
- a base being a basin-shaped and having a curvy bottom for rocking on a surface;
- and
- a first and a second plate, having a hinge on one side to be pivotally mounted on said base for covering said base;
- wherein said first plate is movable to a position for supporting said baby's back at a suitable angle.
