Abstract
A method for converting organic solid waste into humic products and the corresponding apparatus, in which a preliminary aerobic fermentation of the organic solid waste is performed, followed by a second aerobic fermentation of the organic waste in the presence of specific microorganisms in order to provide a basic precursor on which the selective metabolization occurs of specific bacterial strains to provide the humic product.

A method for converting organic solid waste into humic products, wherein it comprises a preliminary aerobic fermentation of organic waste material and a second aerobic fermentation of said organic material in the presence of specific microorganisms to provide a basic precursor on which the selective metabolization occurs of specific bacterial strains to provide a humic product.
An apparatus for converting organic solid waste into humic products, comprising a plurality of tunnel fermentation reactors, each of which comprises means for conveying said waste through the tunnel, means for feeding the waste onto said conveyor means, means for extracting the fermented waste which are synchronized with said feeder means in order to extract a flow-rate of waste which is equal to the infeed rate, a plurality of fermentation reactors provided with an agitator to prepare cultures of microorganisms for seeding in said tunnel reactors, and optionally mixers for the material entering and leaving said devices included in the apparatus.
