Abstract
A novel lyophilizate and method of preparation as well as the use of the lyophilizate to treat female infertility and for gonad protection. Cetrorelix is dissolved in acetic acid 30% v/v, the solution is transferred to water and freeze dried.

A method of making a lyophilizate of a peptide which contains 3-15 amino acids, said method comprising dissolving the peptide in acetic acid to form a solution Containing 100-10,000 parts by weight of acetic acid for each part of peptide, transferring the solution to water, and lyophilizing the resulting solution.
