Abstract
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for setting up at least one holding arrangement for a workpiece in relation to format and/or for setting a tool on a tool carrier, selectable positions being provided in particular for the holding arrangement, and an adjustable control element being provided as part of an adjusting and catch arrangement with positions related to the format, by means of which the holding arrangement is adjusted and fixed relative to the tool carrier. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that at least the fixing of the adjusting and/or catch arrangement for the holding arrangement relative to the tool carrier in at least one setting position is effected magnetically.
Claims14
Method for setting up at least one holding arrangement for a workpiece in relation to format and/or for setting a tool on a tool carrier, selectable positions being provided in particular for the holding arrangement, and an adjustable control element being provided as part of an adjusting and catch arrangement with positions related to the format, by means of which the holding arrangement is adjusted and fixed relative to the tool carrier, characterized in that at least the fixing of the adjusting and/or catch arrangement for the holding arrangement relative to the tool carrier in at least one setting position is effected magnetically.
Method according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized by use in an envelope making machine.
Method according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized by the use of at least one control element (46) and of magnets (51, 52) for activating at least one suction hole row (33) and its suction openings (35) at the circumference (34) of a transverse creasing cylinder (23, 25) carrying creasing blades (28, 29, 30), the suction hole row (33) and its suction openings (35) serving as holding arrangement (31) and the cylinder body (47) of the creasing cylinder (23, 25) serving as tool carrier.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that magnets (51, 52) assigned to one another are in each case arranged in an annular manner and at the end face on the control element (46) and/or at the end face on the cylinder body (47) serving as tool carrier.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that the magnets (51, 52) are in each case permanent magnets.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that the magnets on the one part are arranged so as to be offset in the circumferential direction relative to the magnets on the other part.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that the magnets (51, 52) and the suction hole rows (33) are arranged on different radii.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that the magnets (51, 52) are arranged opposite one another in each case with like poles.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that magnets (51, 52) are arranged opposite one another with opposite poles.
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding apparatus claims, characterized in that the magnets (51 [lacuna]) are arranged on the one hand on an annular control element (46) and on the other hand in an annular end face (56) likewise in alignment in the transverse creasing cylinder (23, 25).
Apparatus according to at least one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least a single magnet is provided as a group of magnets.
