A communication apparatus including a main unit and a communication control unit,

• wherein said communication control unit comprises a first memory medium for storing a first program step of informing said main unit of an incoming call, and
• said main unit comprises a second memory medium for storing a second program step of making a judgment on whether or not the incoming call should be accepted, and a third program step of instructing said communication control unit to respond to the incoming call in accordance with the judgment,
• wherein said first memory medium comprises a fourth program step of responding to the incoming call in accordance with the judgment.

A communication apparatus comprising:

• receiving means for receiving an incoming call signal;
• and
• judging means for judging whether the incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon data included in the incoming call signal and a first condition, and for judging whether the incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon a second condition.

A method for receiving an incoming call signal, comprising the steps of:

• judging whether the incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon data included in the incoming call signal and a first condition;
• and
• judging whether the incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon a second condition.

A computer readable memory in which program codes of a communication method, comprising:

• a code for judging whether an incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon data included in the incoming call signal and a first condition;
• and
• a code for judging whether the incoming call signal should be accepted, rejected or ignored depending upon a second condition.

A method for transmitting additional information in a communication apparatus including a main unit and a communication control unit, comprising the steps of:

• generating additional information in said main unit;
• transmitting the addition information from said communication control unit to a reception side,
• wherein the additional information is converted in said communication control unit in accordance with the reception side.

An apparatus including a main unit and a communication control unit, comprising:

• wherein said main unit comprises a first memory medium for storing a first program step of generating additional information, and
• said communication control unit comprises a second memory medium for storing a second program step of transmits the addition information to a reception side,
• wherein a third program step of converting the additional information in accordance with the reception side is stored in said memory medium.
