Abstract
A topical film-forming aqueous composition for covering a skin lesion comprising a mixture of a polyvinyl alcohol and of a chitosan and capable of forming a dry film in situ.

A topical film-forming aqueous composition for covering a skin lesion, characterized in that it comprises a mixture of a polyvinyl alcohol and a chitosan and is capable of forming a dry film in situ.
A composition according to any one of the claims from 1 to 3, wherein the amount of chitosan is of from 0.15 to 5 by weight %.
A composition according to any one of the claims from 1 to 5, wherein the said composition further comprises at least a disinfectant.
A composition according to any one of the claims from 1 to 7, wherein the said composition further comprises a healing agent.
A composition according to any one of the claims from 1 to 9, in which the said dry film has a thickness of from 0.1 to 5 mm.
