A system management information processing method for use with a console for managing a plurality of computers on which operating systems (OS) operate, the operating systems outputting messages of mutually different types and having mutually different command systems, the console including a storage and a display, comprising the steps of:
- acquiring, from the computers, a plurality of messages outputted from the operating systems operating on the respective computers;
- converting the messages, received from the computers, into messages of a common format;
- and
- displaying, on the display, each of the messages converted into the common format.
