Abstract
A system, method and computer-readable medium for directing an antenna for transmission over a two-way satellite communication system via a graphical user interface (GUI), including receiving via the GUI location information associated with the antenna; downloading via the GUI antenna pointing parameters, displaying via the GUI the antenna pointing parameters; and instructing a user via the GUI to selectively point the antenna based upon the downloaded antenna pointing parameters.

A method for directing an antenna for transmission over a two-way satellite communication system via a graphical user interface (GUI), the method comprising:
- receiving via the GUI location information associated with the antenna,
- downloading via the GUI antenna pointing parameters;
- displaying via the GUI the antenna pointing parameters;
- and
- instructing a user via the GUI to selectively point the antenna based upon the downloaded antenna pointing parameters.
A system for directing an antenna for transmission over a two-way satellite network, the system comprising:
- a transceiver coupled to the antenna and configured transmit and receive signals over the two-way satellite network;
- and
- a user terminal coupled to the transceiver and configured to execute an antenna pointing graphical user interface (GUI) program,
- wherein the GUI receives location information associated with the antenna, downloads antenna pointing parameters, displays the antenna pointing parameters and instructs a user to selectively point the antenna based upon the downloaded antenna pointing parameters.
A system for directing an antenna for transmission over a two-way satellite communication system, the method comprising:
- means for receiving information associated with the antenna;
- means for downloading antenna pointing parameters;
- means for displaying the antenna pointing parameters;
- and
- means for instructing a user to selectively point the antenna based upon the downloaded antenna pointing parameters.
A computer-readable medium carrying one or more sequences of one or more instructions for directing an antenna for transmission over a two-way satellite communication system via a graphical user interface (GUI), the one or more sequences of one or more instructions including instructions which, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform the steps of:
- receiving via the GUI location information associated with the antenna;
- downloading via the GUI antenna pointing parameters;
- displaying via the GUI the antenna pointing parameters;
- and
- instructing a user via the GUI to selectively point the antenna based upon the downloaded antenna pointing parameters.
